about us...

St. Pushpa School is under the religious jurisdiction of the Catholic Diocese of Gorakhpur and administered by Little Sisters of St. Therese of Lisieux Education Society, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The school was started with 132 students on the roll in I and II. From 2011, when the running of the school started in an additional segment of the dispensary at Hata. Sr. Joicy was the principal up to five years. The very next year saw the new building for the school coming up with the foundation stone of the school being blessed and laid by Bp. Dominic Kokkat CST and the school being blessed by Fr. John Vadakkel CST. It has become a centre of excellence imparting knowledge, conduct and character formation with the motto – TO Love and Serve

Dear Parents/Guardians,

On behalf of the Management, Teachers and Staff, welcome to St. Pushpa Senior Secondary School, Hata.  We are very excited that you and your family are a part of the fabric that helps to define our teaching- learning community  a successful and to work together in the best interest of the student body. 

As part of this, we help our students to attain the highest academic standards, each to the level of their ability. Our students are encouraged to participate to the fullest possible extent in the social, physical and cultural activities of the school, so that on completion of their formal education they may emerge as self disciplined, responsible and well adjusted citizens, capable of playing an active and positive role in modern society.

Parents are encouraged to maintain close contact with the school  so that home/school can have a shared sense of purpose and mutual respect with the sharing of information, responsibility and skills.

The Academic Year of the school is from April to March. Admission is taken in February to May of every Academic year.
